The End of Dragon Ball Super:

Dragonball Super will end with Episode 131 “Goodbye, Goku… Until The Day We Meet Again” which will air on March 25th, 2018.

Now, that doesn’t mean that Dragonball Super is ending completely. In December 2018 there will be another Dragonball Movie which will focus on the Origin Story of Yamoshi, The Original Super Saiyan God.

The reason why Dragonball Super has been put aside is due to a very old and very popular anime series celebrating its 50th anniversary. At the same time, the staff have all been moved to the movie to make it of the highest quality and so the anime wouldn’t suffer and it allows the manga and English Dub to catch up.

We will most likely see Dragonball return after the movie releases so I believe in January 2019 we will see either Super or a series of a different name which will be the second story in the ten year time skip.
